New categories[edit]
Please move the files of the old categories to the new ones you created. Else, the files will be hidden in a redirect category. I have done it sometimes for you in the recent past, but I will likely miss some of the new categories you create. With hot cat it's pretty easy. You can select all files and move all with one edit. - I noticed, thanks for your checks and having moved the files. There is a bot that would have moved them after a short cool-down period. In the meantime, the files could still be found in a temporary subcategory. I think the bot action is slightly delayed so other editors have time to double-check and to avoid changes back-and-forth on the files. Enhancing999 (talk) 11:32, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- Ah ok, then let's hope the bot works properly again soon. And on the 4010 meter mountains in Switzerland category, there are only two 4010 mountains in Switzerland and about 50 over 4000. In my opinion a category per 100 meters would be enough to start with.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:48, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- The bot works quite well. As for mountains, steps of 10 m is actually a good way to handle this type of information (one metre or decimetre would be too precise IMO). I added them as some users seem to like it and I don't want to annoy them with questions no architect would think of. Enhancing999 (talk) 10:17, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
