ICS Partners with Non-Profits to Develop Low-Cost Ventilators

We're helping in the fight against COVID-19! ICS has teamed up with two charitable organizations that are each creating an affordable ventilator for use in countries with developing economies. With our assistance, Project RED, an engineer-driven California-based non-profit encompassing volunteers from the U.S. and Canada, and RespiraWorks, an organization comprising engineers, healthcare workers and other professionals around the world, are developing these badly needed devices to help countries cope with the anticipated second wave of the virus. The individual projects are similar though one incorporates some open source elements, such as the UI we’re designing, while the other is completely open source.
